I went to chocolate heaven

Last Sunday I was invited to the Raw Superfoods Snacks workshop by Tom and Sarah from Eten Vol Leven. I spent the whole afternoon indulging in raw vegan treats with my lovely friend Cailin and it was definitely the tastiest workshop I ever attended! I love to get out of my lazy sofa on a Sunday afternoon just to go snacking. ^^ No seriously, the workshop was really interesting, even better (if possible) than I imagined it to be! It was so inspiring to learn more about superfoods from Eduard from Empowered Superfoods and to see how you can make delicious treats with them from Sarah from Eten Vol Leven.

I always wanted to learn more about raw vegan foods, and well, if you can taste lots of chocolate treats in between learning, that makes it all the more fun, doesn’t it? 😀 This is what we made:

  • black & white wild chocolate with reishi
  • brigaderos with maca and wild cacaonibs
  • pralines with macadamia butter
  • bliss balls with blue-green algae
  • fresh pineapple & lemon aloe vera shake
  • wild siberian chaga extract “coffee”

Sounds great, doesn’t it? If you have never went to Eten Vol Leven, definitely pay them a visit. Their raw food tastes absolutely delicious and the service is great. Your taste buds won’t be disappointed! 😉
